Rabarbra Brut Organic is the producer’s organic sparkling rhubarb wine and, in their own account, the first organic sparkling wine made in Estonia. This is the 200 ml MINI bottle — a single-serve format that works for gift boxes and tastings.
How it differs from standard Rabarbra
Two things: it is made solely from certified organic rhubarb, and it is drier and stronger. Residual sugar sits under 1.1 g/100 ml (brut) against roughly 1.7 g/100 ml for the standard Dry, and alcohol is 11% vol rather than 8%.
Taste
Sharp and fresh on the palate, with rhubarb in the aftertaste. The wine is unfiltered, so a light natural acid sediment may settle at the bottom of the bottle — this is expected and not a fault.
Awards and certification
Awarded “Best Organic Drink 2019” by the Estonian Ministry of Rural Affairs. The label carries the EU organic leaf with control body code EE-ÖKO-02.
