How can we help?

Your questions about honey, storage, gifts and ordering, answered.

About honey

What is raw honey and how is it different?

Raw honey has not been pasteurised or finely filtered. Artisan Honey is unheated and minimally processed to preserve its natural character, pollen, aroma and flavour. Our honey comes directly from Estonian beekeepers.

Why has my honey crystallised? Is it still good?

Crystallisation is a natural process in which honey becomes thicker, grainy or solid. It does not mean the honey has spoiled. To soften it, place the jar in warm water below 40 °C. Avoid boiling or microwaving it.

How should I store honey?

Keep honey in a tightly closed jar at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary. Follow the best-before date on the jar and use a clean, dry spoon.

What types of honey and bee products do you offer?

Our range includes blossom and heather honey, honey with blueberries, sea buckthorn, lemon and ginger, and matcha, as well as honey-based gourmet treats, propolis, royal jelly and carefully curated gift sets.

Is your honey from Estonia, and is it tested?

Our honey comes directly from Estonian beekeepers. DNA analysis helps us assess its botanical origins and authenticity. Read more on our DNA-tested honey page.
