Wooden Gift Boxes and Packaging
Slide-top crates, treasure chests, window gift boxes and cork bags – every Artisan Honey gift package on one page. Pick the box that fits your honey set.
How to choose the right gift box
The box decides much of whether a gift looks considered or thrown together. Artisan Honey uses four materials – wood, cardboard, cork and cellophane – and each suits a different size and price point. Here is a short guide to choosing.
Wooden gift boxes
Wood is our most popular packaging. The slide-top box is a small crate with a sliding lid that leaves the jars visible – a gift that does not need to be hidden. Slide-top boxes come for one, two, three and six jars, and fit everything from 50 g to 430 g. The treasure chest and the pine VIP crate have a hinged lid and hold up to six 300 g jars together with extras. A birch plywood frame holds two cardboard boxes and a softwood phone stand. The larger wooden boxes have a rope handle, so the gift can be carried as it is.
Window gift box
A window gift box is a cardboard box with a transparent panel in the lid. The recipient sees the contents before opening it, which makes it a good choice when a gift is handed over unwrapped – at the office, say, or at a reception. The two-handled window box comes in natural cardboard, red and green. The clear cellophane bag follows the same idea and suits two 100 g jars at the lowest price.
Cork gift bags
Cork is light and kind to the environment, and it is scratch and moisture resistant as well. Cork gift bags come in three sizes: 13×14 cm for one jar, 16×14 cm for two, and a 20×35 cm bag with handles that takes any selection of products. A cork bag is not single-use packaging – it carries on as an ordinary bag.
Which honey set fits which box?
50 g jars: three or six in a slide-top box, three in the matt black gold-print cardboard box.
100 g jars: two in a slide-top box or cellophane bag, six in a slide-top box or a handled wooden crate.
200 g jars: two in a slide-top box or gold-print cardboard box, one in a cork bag.
300 g jars: one in a slide-top box or birdhouse, six in the pine VIP crate.
430 g jars: one in a slide-top box, the plywood frame, or the larger cork bag.
A gift that needs no extra wrapping
Most of our wooden boxes are already gift-shaped: a sliding lid, a rope handle and bare wood mean there is no wrapping paper or gift bag to buy on top. The cellophane bag and the cork bag are finished solutions in the same way. That is a small but practical difference when several gifts are needed at once – before Christmas at the office, or for a larger family.
Packaging you can reuse
Every wooden and cork item is meant to be used again. An emptied slide-top box suits spices or craft supplies, the treasure chest works for storage and the cork bag becomes an everyday bag. It is also why we do not wrap them in separate gift paper – the box is part of the gift.
